Jev AI FAQ
What is Jev AI, and how is it different from a chatbot?
Jev is TypeSafe's System One model, built to make structured judgments about content. You give it text, questions and the possible answers, and it returns a category, a score or a yes/no probability. It doesn't write or rewrite anything for you.
Is Jev free to try? Do I need to log in or bring an API key?
Throk's Jev playground is free, with no login and no API key. It's ad-supported and rate-limited: up to 8 questions per run, and about 3,000 tokens for your text and questions combined. Free here doesn't mean the TypeSafe API itself is free or unlimited.
How do I use Jev for sentiment analysis or text classification?
Choose Free analysis, paste your text and set your questions. For sentiment, use positive, neutral, negative and mixed as the options. For classification, swap in your own categories, such as question, complaint or thanks. You can edit every question and option.
Can I analyze text that isn't from Threads?
Yes. Product reviews, support messages, ad copy and emails all work. On Threads, creators can use the post check to test an opening and its main point, or the comment classifier to see what replies are asking for.
What's the difference between score, category and yes/no answers?
A score rates the text against levels you define and can land between two levels. A category picks the best fit from your options. Yes/no gives the probability that a condition holds; the closer it is to 50%, the less sure the model is.
Can I write my own questions or edit the JSON?
Yes. Every template's questions, answer types and score levels are editable, and you can add your own. If you know the request format, switch to JSON mode. Throk picks the model.
How accurate is Jev? Can it predict viral posts?
Jev is trained mainly on English, so English text is where it does best. Sarcasm and posts that lean on missing context can still trip it up, so treat the results as a second opinion. It only reads the text you paste: it never touches Threads account data and doesn't predict reach or views.
Is the text I paste stored?
Throk doesn't store it. Your text is sent to TypeSafe, the model provider, to run the analysis, so leave out passwords, personal details and anything confidential.
You've checked the words. Now see real engagement.
Throk tracks trending Threads posts, like growth, reply reactions and the best times to post, so you can see what actually earns engagement. The free plan includes 100 credits a day, no card required.
Start free with ThrokAbout the Jev playground and TypeSafe Jev
The Jev playground is a free Jev AI tool from Throk, running TypeSafe's Jev model. Write your own questions to run sentiment analysis, intent classification and quality scoring on the same text, or put two drafts side by side under the same criteria. Checking Threads posts is one use: does the opening hook, is the point clear, does it invite replies? Other templates cover comments and brand voice, and Free analysis handles reviews, support messages, copy and anything else. Throk runs this tool independently. It isn't TypeSafe's official site, and it isn't affiliated with Meta or Threads. There's no login, and it never reads your Threads account.
