FAQ

What is Threads Circle?

A free tool that draws the people a Threads account interacts with most as a circle. The account sits in the middle, and the closer someone is to the center, the more often they interact. It's the same idea as the Twitter Circle images that went viral a few years ago.

Is this related to Twitter Circle?

It's inspired by the Twitter Circle images that took off on X (formerly Twitter). We brought the same idea to Threads and build the circle from public replies.

How is it calculated?

We count whom the account replies to. We look at its recent public replies, tally the accounts it replied to most and rank them. That shows where the account puts its attention, not who replies to it.

Do I need to log in or give a password?

No. Just enter a public username. We only use public Threads data and never ask you to log in or connect anything.

Can I look up someone else? Will they know?

You can look up any public account. They won't get a notification or find out, because we only read public data.

Why doesn't it work for some accounts?

The account may be private, the username may be misspelled, or it hasn't posted enough public replies for us to have picked up. A more active public account usually works.

How accurate is it?

The circle is estimated from public replies. It picks out the main people an account talks to, but it's for fun and reference, not a complete or real-time picture of anyone's relationships.

Is it free?

Yes, it's a free tool from Throk. If you want to dig deeper into Threads data, you can sign up for Throk for free.

About Threads Circle

Threads Circle is a free tool that visualizes who an account interacts with. Enter any public Threads username and you'll see the people it replies to most, laid out in rings: the account itself sits in the center, and the closer an avatar is to the middle, the more often they interact. An orange outline marks mutuals, people who reply to each other. The tool only uses public Threads data. It needs no login, stores no personal information and isn't affiliated with Meta or Threads. Whether you want to see your own circle, find out who a creator you follow actually talks to, or make an image to share on Threads, enter a username and you'll have it in a few seconds.
